Menus

A Menu in Zonal Events represents the set of choices your guests can view, select, or be informed about when booking for a specific event. It could be anything from a fixed-price three-course dinner, to a drinks package, to buffet options for a party. Menus can be attached to an event so guests know exactly what is included or available, as well as make selections in advance.

Linking a menu to your event streamlines the guest experience by clearly showing what’s on offer before they arrive, helping them make informed decisions and increasing their anticipation. For the business, it improves operational efficiency by allowing your team to plan stock, staffing, and preparation in advance. It also opens up opportunities for pre-sold items and extras during the booking journey, generating extra revenue and reducing on-the-day service pressure.

It's worth noting, in order to enable pre-order functionality, you will need setting up and integrating with the iOrder platform. When configured, your guests can access a pre-order screen through the Guest Portal and select their menus ahead of time. The selected menu can then be sent to the POS automatically on the day of the booking.
