Capacity Groups
Capacity groups allow you to segment your site into bookable areas with their own capacities. Capacity groups are required as part of the Bookable Areas configurations. Capacity grouping gives a header name to the grouping of timeslots, as well as linking the Area.

Navigate to Events Admin Access → Manage Capacity → Capacity Groups
Creating a capacity group
Follow these steps to create a capacity group:

From the Outlets drop down, select the Site
Zonal recommends, when building your first capacity group to use your default and simply re-name. For the majority of instances, the default is re-named to "Restaurant", but this can vary based on your businesses needsThere will always initially be a default capacity group displayed. The default will have no area assigned at this stage -
Click Add new capacity group

Enter a Name

Click Choose Area
If no Area names are displayed for selection, you will need to go back to the Areas topic and follow the required steps -
Select the Area

Click Save Changes
Deleting a Capacity Group
Follow these steps to delete a capacity group:

From the Outlets drop down, select the Site

From the Actions column, Click Delete
A prompt will display asking "Are you sure you wish to delete this capacity group?". -
Click Yes Delete
When deleting a capacity group, it will also delete all timeslots that are configured for that site. This is no way to recover or reverse this action. Should you delete in error, you will need to create the capacity group and required timeslots again
Once you have completed creating a capacity group, you can proceed to Bookable Areas topic to complete your groups timeslots and availability.
