The product settings section enables you to configure certain behaviours and functions of the way the products area works including, choice and dietary mode configurations.

Choice Settings
The choice settings section enables the definition of the costings displayed for options inside a choice.
Select one of the following settings:

Average Item Cost
-
Minimum Item Cost
-
Maximum Item Cost
When adding new choices the system default (whatever enabled here) will be used, this can be overridden on the choice as required.
Dietary Info
The dietary info tab enables configuration of nutrition settings.
Nutrition
The nutrition settings allow you to track manually entered nutritional information for sales items.
Enabling Nutrition Settings
Follow these steps to configure this section:

Select Nutrition to be On, when enabled other settings will become available

Enable Manual

Select the Default Country of operation, United Kingdom or United States of America, the selection will adjust the available nutrition types

By default all nutritional types are set to on for a specified country, these can be turned off if not required
The following nutritional types will be displayed when a country is set:

Choice Settings
The choice settings section allows you to choose how you view costings.
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Average Item Cost | When choices costings are displayed the average price for all items will be displayed |
| Minimum Item Cost | When choice costings are displayed the minimum price (lowest item price) will be displayed |
| Maximum Item Cost | When choice costings are displayed the maximum price (highest item price) will be displayed |
