Sales Items

Sales items are products available for purchase across all ordering channels, previously in Aztec these were classed as "Standard Lines" and "Recipes" but have now been categorised as sales items. Each sales item encompasses comprehensive information required by various parts of the ecosystem, including ingredients, choices, supply chain details, allergens, nutrition facts, display descriptions, images, and a range of other customisable settings.

When setting up choices and modifier groups, sales items can be seamlessly incorporated. These sales items not only become a part of the setup process but are also included in menus and offers.

Searching & Filtering

The list displays by default all of the sales items created, searching and filtering can be applied to create smaller list of items.

Product Structure Filter & Search Tips

When searching for product types you can:

  • Use the product structure to select 1 or more parts of the hierarchy

    • Click into a drop down and either type to search or scroll through the list of available items and select

    • Select filters from multiple sections, to provide more accurate results

    • Click the X on the selected item to remove

  • Apply a filter by selecting product tags

  • Use search to find items by main name, description, Aztec ID or external reference

Deleting Sales Items

Sales Items can be deleted from the list view or directly when a sales item is opened.

When a sales item is deleted, it is automatically removed from any linked sales items, choices and prep items . Before proceeding, the Related Items tab should be checked. Additionally, the deleted item will be sent to Aztec and iOrder

All Items

The all items view displays Sales Items, Choices and Instructions, these are indicated with a type badge in the main table and with a letter badge (S C or I) in the table list when an item is open. Alternative views just for each type are also available.

When in the All Items view an additional filter is available of Item Type.
