Other Configuration

The other configuration tab enables different configuration settings to be applied to the sales item.

Completing Other Configuration Settings

The following settings can be configured within the Other Configurations tab:

Other Settings

• ABV%

• Open Price

Guest Ordering Settings

• Age Restriction Prompt

• Default Course

• Course Selector

Gift Cards

• Gift Card Provider

Scale Containers

Follow these steps to configure this section:

1. Select the check box for "Sold by Weight"

2. Map each portion to a scale container

   Containers are used so that weight of the container will be excluded from the price calculation

Override Portions

The override portions function enables the portions that have been added to the sales item have different names and descriptions compared to that as configured against the portion in product admin.

Follow these steps to configure this section:

1. Enter a portion override name or description

2. Deselect "Order Panel Display" if the portion name is not to be displayed in Aztec+ App on the order panel

3. Select "Disable" if the standard portion is not to be available during ordering

Adding Barcodes

Barcodes can be added to sales items in order for that item to be scanned during ordering transactions and add to the POS automatically without needing to tap the button.

There are two types of barcode options that can be added:

• Single - one barcode that identifies the items, multiple single codes can be added

• Range - multiple codes within a range, so that a large number can be added without having to enter multiple single codes

Adding Single Barcodes

Follow these steps to add single barcodes (within the barcodes tab):

1. Click Add

2. Ensure the type is set to Single | enter the Barcode Number

   Barcodes must be unique, if the same code has been entered on this or any other sales item the number entered must be updated to continue
   Barcode numbers must be 9 digits or more, if the code being entered contains the items price (for example weighted items), select the "custom priced barcode" check box

3. Click Add

Adding Range Barcodes

Follow these steps to add range barcodes (within the barcodes tab):

1. Click Add

2. Select Range from the type drop down

3. Enter the range Name | Start and End Barcodes

   Barcodes ranges must be unique, if the same code has been entered on this or any other sales item the number entered must be updated to continue (including a value within a range)
   Barcode numbers must be 9 digits or more

4. If there are any exceptions (barcodes that should be excluded from the range) click Add New Exception | enter the Barcode Number

5. Click Add

Editing Barcodes

Follow these steps to edit barcodes:

1. From the table displayed either single or range barcodes | click Edit

2. Update the barcode information as required

3. Click Save

Deleting Barcodes

Follow these steps to delete barcodes:

1. From the table displayed either select single or range barcodes

2. Click Delete

3. Confirm the deletion by clicking b

Field Settings & Other Information

Aztec+ Settings

The Aztec+ setting enable additional item behaviour through the ordering process.

Guest Ordering Settings

The guest ordering settings enable additional behaviour prompted to guests through the ordering process.

Gift Card Settings

The gift card settings determine the behaviour of the item when purchasing a gift card through the POS terminal.
