Portions Topics
Adding New Portions
Follow these steps to add a new portions:

Click Add
-
Enter the following details, Main Name | Aztec Name | Price Factor, set if this is a Percentage or Factor

Click Add
-
Set any additional fields as required Description | Course Override | Applies To | Add to Parent Line

Set if the button name should be based on the portion or overridden in the POS button text

Click Save
Editing Portions
Follow these steps to edit a portion:

Select the required portion

Update any fields as required | click Save
Searching Portions
Follow these steps to search for a portion:

In the list section click into the search
-
Enter the search term, press <enter> or click the search icon, the results will be displayed matching the search term including any mid-word matches

To remove the search click the remove search icon
Viewing Activity
Follow these steps to view the activity of a portion:

Select the Activity tab

By default todays activity is initially displayed, adjust the date selection to choose either

1M - last 1 month of changes

3M - last 3 months of changes

Custom - date range picker

Portion Details
The details section allows you to set the main configurable information for portions.

| Main Name | Main portion named used across the platform - 50 characters |
| Aztec Name | Shorter portion name used by Aztec - 20 characters |
| Description | Description of the portion - 250 characters |
| Price Factor |
Price factor can be set to either "Percentage" or "Factor" giving the following options: Factor - when set it will use a factor value of the standard portion price Percentage - when set it will use a percentage value of the standard portion price When using either option the system can automatically calculate the price without it requiring an actual price entry in a price group |
| Course Override | When using a portion with a course override the sales item will have its course overridden with whatever has been configured |

Applies to can be set to either "All Selections" or "Next Selection" All Selections Until Cancelled - when set the portion will be the default used until it is switched off Next Selection - when set the portion will turn off after the item has been added These settings apply to Aztec POS terminals only |

When enabled the next item added on an order will automatically be linked to the previous item ordered in an "and" mode This setting applies to Aztec POS terminals only |
POS Display Details
The POS display details section allows you to set the button name that will be shown in Aztec.
