Scale containers are used to define the tare weight of a container so that when scales are integrated to the POS terminal the weight of the container will be excluded and ensures the customers are not overcharged for the weighted sales item.

Adding New Scale Containers
Follow these steps to add a new scale containers:

Click Add

Enter Scale Container Name | Description (optional)

Enter Tare Weight of the container
The tare weight is entered as a value only, site configurations determine the display unit -
Click Add
Editing Scale Containers
Follow these steps to edit a scale container

Select the required container | click Edit

Update any fields as required | click Save
