Guest Portal

The Guest Portal tab is where you are able to apply changes to your guest facing portal. This can then be styled using Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) so that it blends into your web page, maintaining the aesthetic.

This can only be done by someone with a solid knowledge of CSS, so often requires the help of someone external from the business such as a web designer.

Navigate to Events Admin Access → Widgets → Guest Portal

Applying a CSS Link

Follow these steps to add a CSS Link:

  1. In the CSS Link field, enter the CSS URL

  2. Click Save Changes

Enabling Functions

Lead Guest's Edits

This setting controls the Lead Guest's ability to edit booking details (number of covers, date & time) in the Guest Portal. When the Lead Guest makes a change that would trigger a new booking rule, they will instead be presented with a message asking them to contact the site directly to make a change. Please note that when it's switched OFF it will hide and disable 'Manage Event' button in the Guest Portal across the Estate.

Allow requirements changes

Please note, this setting will allow the Lead Guest to make changes to the booking which would trigger a new booking rule. Lowering the number of covers on a booking will not trigger a new Booking Rule regardless of this setting.
