Birthday Event
Loyalty events can be created to deliver added value to members of loyalty programmes. The system currently supports Birthday Events, which are triggered using birthday data held for loyalty customers.
Remember, if rewards are to be offered based on birthdays, this information must be captured during customer registration.
A birthday event created within Programs → "Program" → Events is not connected with the reward, Item for Birthday
The event is only applicable to loyalty customers that have their birthday details stored on the system

Creating a Birthday Event

Click +Create New

Select Birthday Event

Enter the Event Name

Enter the Amount to Credit and select the Value Type - Points or Currency
This will be credited to members current balances -
Set the Valid From and Valid To date range
Leaving the valid from / to blank will start the event immediately and never expire -
Set the Availability of Credit before and after birthday fields
For example, to ensure that members of this loyalty program can use their birthday event credit for one month before and one month after their birthday, choose 'Month' for Before and Expiry Interval Type, and enter '1' in each of the Before and Expiry interval fields
