| Support Display of Add to Wallet Buttons in White Label App |
As part of our work to provide a digital first loyalty offering, we are taking steps to streamline the integration between Loyalty and the White Label App. This is a key element of that work, as this allows users to easily add their Loyalty cards to their Apple or Google Wallets directly from the App. To achieve this, we have updated a Loyalty endpoint allowing iOrder Platform to call it and return the Pass URL needed to kick off the 'add to wallet' journey from the App. iOrder and White Label App are working on their own parts of this solution, which will be delivered in due course. |

'Add to Wallet' Buttons in Balance Widget
This release adds the ability to include Add to Wallet buttons in the Balance Widget. In the Widget Configuration page under the Balances tab, users can now enable an option to display Apple and Google Add to Wallet buttons. When enabled, guests accessing the Balance Widget on a compatible device can add their loyalty card to their digital wallet, just as they would from a registration or enrolment email.
Digital Wallets
Launch of Pass Creator service
The new service called Pass Creator, allows administrators to create new Loyalty Card templates (or edit existing ones) to fit the desired look and feel of their brand and to include all the credentials needed for an Apple or Google Wallet pass to be generated for the end user. The templates will always include the user's Loyalty Card number and a QR code allowing them to scan and accrue points and redeem rewards Additionally, customers will be able to choose background colours and images that help them to properly brand the passes their guests receive.
Digital Wallets
'Add to Wallet' button included in Account Engine email templates
Creating great-looking pass templates is the first step, but we also need to ensure that guests are able to add the correct pass with the correct template to their Apple or Google Wallet. To support this, we have made two changes to Loyalty:
-
A 'Template Configuration' module to Companies where administrators can select the template, built in Pass Creator, that they want to send out
-
A new dynamic marker, 'Device Wallet Buttons' to the Email Templates module which allows both the 'Add to Apple Wallet' and 'Add to Google Wallet' buttons to emails sent to guests
Loyalty Rewards
Add Terms & Conditions to Loyalty Rewards
When providing loyalty rewards to guests it is important for customers to be able to communicate any relevant terms and conditions associated with them, with this release, the possibility to link directly to a URL containing the terms & conditions from the reward itself.
Emails
Add QR Code to Emails
Loyalty administrators will be able to now include the guests' loyalty card stored as a QR code as part of their welcome email after sign-up.
