Payment Methods

To enable POS operators to make charges and settlements to ledger accounts, the necessary payment related buttons must be added, this page provides the steps to configure these settings.

In most Aztec instances these payment methods are already created
Navigate to Finance → Configuration → Payment Methods

Adding 'Charge Ledger' Method

This payment method enables POS operators to make a charge to the sales ledger account

Follow these steps to add 'charge ledger' method:

  1. Click Add

  2. Enter Payment Method Name'Chg Ledger' and then the following configurations

    • Type - Chard Ledger

    • Auto Declare - Selected

    • Configure other fields as required for the organisations requirements

  3. Click Finish

Adding 'Settle Ledger' Method

This payment method enables POS operators to pay / settle sales ledger account balances

Follow these steps to add 'settle ledger' method:

  1. Click Add

  2. Enter Payment Method Name 'Sett Ledger' and then the following configurations

    • Type - Settled Ledger

    • Auto Declare - Selected

    • Configure other fields as required for the organisations requirements

  3. Click Finish
