Delivery Schedules Importer

Making bulk changes to delivery slots is easier using the Excel spreadsheet option. This allows you to apply multiple updates at once and then import the changes back into the system using the importer tool.

Update / Import Delivery Slots

Follow these steps to update and import the delivery slots:

1. Select Delivery Schedules

2. Select the required Enterprise

3. Select the required Supplier

4. Select the required Schedule Type

   • Standard - permanent change

     The standard schedule will be applied with immediate effect not depending on the start date entered in the template (when importing)

   • Temporary - a change set to cover a bank holiday or limited time period

     The temporary schedule will only apply for the week commencing as per the start date entered in the template and will automatically revert back to the standard schedule in the following week (when importing

5. Click Export Template

   The file will be downloaded to your downloads folder

6. Update the delivery schedules in Excel as required

   • Columns A-F define the supplier and site informations contained within the delivery slot

   • Column G defines the start date of the delivery slot

   • Columns H-N correspond with the actual delivery days

     • If the column is blank this means that the site is not set to receive a delivery on that day

       Do not enter the number zero if the site does not have a delivery day as the system will take this as being a cut off time of midnight

     The values in these columns dictate the order cut off times, how many hours before the midnight of the delivery day when the order can be sent to the supplier

     Example

     If a site has a delivery day of Tuesday and the order cut off time is 12pm the previous day, the number 12 would be entered under ‘Tuesday’ for the relevant site because from 12pm on Monday (order cut off) until midnight Tuesday (delivery day) = 12 hours

   No other changes to the file including rows, columns or headings should be made. If anything, apart from the numeric data in columns H to N and the start date in column G are altered the file will not upload successfully

7. Click Select Template search for the file to import

8. Review the information displayed on screen

9. Click Import
