General

The general settings in the configuration provide a range of options that facilitate the overall system setup and customisation.

Navigate to Configuration → General

Follow these steps to modify general settings:

Field Settings & Information

The following table of information describes each of the general settings fields:

Field	Description
Name	The name given to the configuration, use a name that helps identify the configuration
Group Name	An optional group name to sort configurations in to logical groups, which could be by status, live / test, number of screens, brand etc
Estate Name	The display name of the Estate configured by Zonal on initial setup
Description	Description of the configuration, more detail to explain where / what the configuration is used for
Kitchen Type	Drop down to define if the configuration is for Kitchen iQ or third party systems

The following table of information describes each of the display option fields:

Field	Description
Max Timer to Display	The maximum timer that can be displayed is 99:59 this can be adjusted to a lower value
Sort Order Lines within Tickets	Drop down to define how order lines are sorted within a ticket when displayed on screen: Cook Time - items are displayed in cook time order where the longest cook time item is shown at the top of the ticket Ring Up Time - items are displayed in the order that they were rung up on the Point of Sale Terminal / handheld device Alphanumeric - items are displayed in an A-Z order regardless of how they were rung up on the Point of Sale Terminal / handheld device
Show Extra Order Info	Check box to define if additional order information (delayed order fields) can be displayed in the Account / Check details view on a screen (accessed by magnifying glass button on bump bar)
Print Extra Order Info	Check box to define if additional order information (delayed order fields) will be printed on order tickets printed from Kitchen iQ
Short Table Number Prefix	Option for single character letter to prefix table numbers displayed on screen, the default is T
Long Table Number Prefix	Option for 7 character name to prefix table numbers displayed on screen, the default is Table

The following table of information describes each of the grouping fields:

Field	Description
Group Table Orders	Check box to define if orders for the same table should be grouped when displayed on screen, grouping will put order tickets next to each other with a smaller gap between each and the table number will be changed in a box with a triangle
Group Period	The time for which order coming from the same table will be grouped in mm:ss

Although settings are available for the Ten Kites recipe card provider, this functionality is not currently supported.
