Navigating Tables Host

The Tables Host platform, allows users to navigate in one browser to manage their bookings, seating allocations, wait-list and service planning. Within the below topics, we have highlighted for you how to carry out some of the most common tasks within the platform.

The Tables Host headers are listed below with a brief description:

  • Dashboard - Site administrators can define up to six widgets to be displayed on the host dashboard. These widgets allow staff to view summary information about all operations on the current day. You can display multiple instances of the same widget if required.

  • Wait List- This is the tab that is open when you log in. Use the Wait List tab to add customers to the Wait List. It will also show up any Reservations for the next 2 hour period.

  • Table Planning- The Table Planning tab allows you to use either List views or a Map view of the dining areas. Here you can manage servers, tables, and guests.

  • Reservations - The Reservations tab lists all of the reservations in the system. The tab is organised by day, so you can select any day in the calendar ribbon at the top of the tab to see the customers who visited the restaurant that day.

  • Seated - The Seated tab lists of all the customers who are currently seated at your restaurant.
