Tags

Tags are assigned to as an additional attribute to a data item across the platform, they then provide an additional layer of searching and filtering when looking through large sets of data, for example sales items.

Prior to creating tags 1 or more tag groups must be created, view tag group here

Examples
  • Menu Season

  • Cocktail Type

  • Brand

  • Alcoholic / Non-Alcoholic

  • Delivery Item

Adding New Tags

Follow these steps to add a new tag:

  1. Click Add

  2. Enter the following details, Name | Description (optional)

  3. Set the Type, Yes / No or List

  4. Select the required Tag Associations

    Tag associations determine in which area of the platform the tag will be available for selection, for example a tag association of "product" will only display within the products app of Zonal Connect
  5. Select the required Tag Group | Sub Group | Section | and Sub Section

  6. Click Add

  7. If the type List has been selected define the list, click Add

  8. Enter the List Item | click Add, complete this process until all list items have been added

  9. Click Save

Editing Tags

Follow these steps to edit a tag:

  1. Select the required tag

  2. Update any fields as required | click Save

Searching Tags

Follow these steps to search for a tag:

  1. In the list section click into the search

  2. Enter the search term, press <enter> or click the search icon, the results will be displayed matching the search term including any mid-word matches

  3. To remove the search click the remove search icon

Viewing History

Follow these steps to view the history of a course:

  1. Select the History tab

  2. By default todays history is initially displayed, adjust the date selection to choose either

    • 1M - last 1 month of changes

    • 3M - last 3 months of changes

    • Custom - date range picker

  3. History will be displayed with the following information

    • Date & Time

    • User

    • Action
