Non Room Postings

RMS Cloud PMS can serve as the primary solution for managing all sales reporting. In this setup, all non room postings (such as cash, card, etc) can be posted to the the PMS, allowing for complete reconciliation.

Requirements

The following should be provided by RMS:

  • Payment Method IDs - used for mapping payment methods in Aztec Point of Sale to those used in RMS

    Only the required IDs needed for postings to RMS are needed, not all Aztec payment methods are required to mapped if they are not to be posted to RMS

Setup

POS Integration Configuration

Navigate to Base Data → Estate Structure → Site Settings → CLM

Follow these steps to configure the plugin information:

  1. From the Plugin drop down select RMS

  2. Set the following information

    • Enable Non Room Posting check box

  3. Click Save

Payment Method Mapping

The RMS IDs for payment methods are required to mapped within the Configuration.xml to Aztec Payment Methods so that the correct revenue is posted.
