New Features

Feature Description

Standard Receipt Plugin

Zonal’s Standard Receipt plugin provides a standardised platform for sending account receipt data from the POS to a third-party provider. This supports them with collecting valuable transaction data, enabling them to forward customers a copy of the receipt. This new plugin supports capturing customer email addresses at the POS and forwarding this via post-transaction ticket data to the third party for further analysis.

Standard Loyalty - Enhancements

The following enhancements have been added to Standard Loyalty:

  • Send basket level promotional data:
allows the 3rd party Loyalty provider to understand the promotions that were applied to the POS account, supporting them with this additional information to determine an appropriate discount that can be returned to the POS for the customer to benefit from.

  • Auto update POS rewards:
allows rewards to be returned from the 3rd party Loyalty provider and be auto applied to the POS account, removing need for user to manually apply them. POS users will have the ability to manually remove auto applied rewards from the corrections screen. Allocated rewards will be removed if Loyalty is unassigned from the POS account.

  • Support Open Discount per product:
allow users to set an Aztec Open Discount type, supporting the 3rd party Loyalty provider apply a discount type per each individual item or product (eg: Members Pricing). A second line of description will be introduced to allow the 3rd party define details of the Open Discount when applying rewards to the POS account.

  • Send card token ticket data:
allows the 3rd party Loyalty provider to understand payment card token data in the ticket data sent. This includes Verifone Payment Token, supporting the 3rd party with more information and use this to allocate rewards.

  • Send ticket data when Loyalty not assigned:
allows the 3rd party Loyalty provider to understand every transaction that is completed, when a customers Loyalty is assigned and not assigned to a closed POS account. This new settings must be configured in Aztec Standard Loyalty settings.

Zonal Hotel Solutions - Itemised Room Postings*

An enhancement to the existing Zonal Hotels Systems plugin formerly HLS), that will include itemised room postings with the price of each item (without promotional data). This provides a better breakdown in the Hotels system receipt, improved visibility on each item and what was paid for.

Zonal Hotel Solutions - Payments on POS

Supporting sites that want to perform room balance payments, partial payments and payment reversals from the Aztec POS. This also supports guests who check in / check out from the POS in a restaurant or bar area, instead of a device in the hotel reception.

Zonal Hotel Solutions - Check In / Out Actions

Allowing POS users to check in / check out guests, view room details on check out and ability to print invoice when requested. This supports sites without a front desk or would like the ability to run their operations from another space, including their bar or restaurant.

National Trust plugin - Simplify Member Search

Member search performed on the POS will be simplified by reducing the number of fields that must be currently entered, allowing members to be found on the system efficiency. This change removes the need for POS users to enter First Name, allowing them to only enter Last Name, Date of birth and postcode, improving the check in experience by reducing wait times.

Standard Gift Card - distinguish discount payment

After a transaction is made using the Standard Gift Card plugin, it will be possible to identify what was paid through the balance and through a discount provided by the site. This will support customers who need to distinguish between payment and discount for finance reporting purposes.
