What's New
New Features
The following new features have been introduced in this version of POS Integration Engine (Aztec).
Feature | Description |
---|---|
Punchh - Aztec Promotion Support |
Send the promotional price(s) to Punchh rather than the standard price(s) as part of the receipt details |
Punchh - Discount Application Logic and Reporting |
Punchh sends Zonal the line items that are being discounted, but not the proportion of the discount value that applies to each item. POS Int will pass the information to the till about which line items have been discounted. This will allow the till to display details of which items have been discounted and by how much This will also ensure that system is not discounting more than 100% of the value for an item |
Punchh - Receipts to more clearly display expiry date of voucher |
The print on the receipt currently shows expiry date in number of days (e.g 14 days). This feature allows the POS to calculate the actual expiry date of a promotion and print it on the receipt. A clear end date on the receipt for the promotion will make the customer aware of the 'use by' time they have to use that promotion |
Punchh - Loyalty vs Non-Loyalty Discount |
In order to provide a cleaner experience for the user, this feature is for the receipt to show the name of the promotion applied, rather than just "Punchh". This is possible when a customer is associated with the code. In the case that there is no associated customer, then the promotion will still show "Punchh" |
Punchh - Redemptions Limitations |
This feature is to prevent users from using Punchh vouchers more than once. Limitation is set at one person per day at a single site |
Punchh - Support configurable rules to stop printing bar-codes on the receipt |
When a loyalty customer has been assigned to an account on POS, no barcode should be printed as they would already be earning on that transaction. And if a barcode is printed and the customer tries to scan it, they will get an error |
Voucher Manager - New Voucher Type |
A new voucher type 'Promotion' is now supported by TXD. These voucher types will be able to be associated with an Aztec Promotion ID, that can be returned in an API response. This will allow POS Int to inject a promotion into an account when a Voucher Manager voucher is scanned |
