Banking
The banking function allows onsite back of house operators to reduce the amount of money held onsite by creating a banking record. This process records funds removed from the safe and links them to the banking entry with the relevant references and bank details.
The banking section defines behaviour of banking, banking collection and change received activities.

Settings
When a company is selected the following table outlines each setting and its corresponding functionality.

Change Received
This function enables onsite back of house operators to enter change that has been received into a site either through a secure delivery or where money has been collected and brought into the site where there was no direct exchange of notes for coins |

Adding Banks
When performing a banking a bank can be selected, multiple banks can be assigned to sites which enable them to choose a bank during the process, using banks is optional but it will enable the definition of the default reference mask.
Follow these steps to add banks:

Click Add

Enter the following details

Display Name

Bank

Branch Name

Account Name

Account Number
-
Sort Code
-

Optionally if a banking reference mask is required click Edit

Click any of the listed options to insert to build the mask

Additional manually entered text can also be entered into the mask format

Click OK

Click Finish

Optionally select a Default Bank from the drop down
Additional settings can be applied for available banks at site level - Finance → Configuration → Estate Structure → Site Settings → Banking
