What's New

The following new features have been introduced in this version of Worldpay.

Feature Description
Integrate HPA 4.9 -

Passing of Scheme Reference Data to Merchants in the AVR response

A change from WorldPay where they provide additional information in their response following a successful pre-authorisation. This Scheme Reference Data (SRD) is stored and is now required to be passed to WorldPay when a clawback is requested
Contactless Offline Transactions

A change introduced by WorldPay where contactless offline transactions are now supported

This feature is not supported due to further changes being required by WorldPay to allow testing to be completed
Simplifying POS basket updates

A change to the way we update an Aztec basket in the event of a payment being started and then cancelled. An issue was found whereby a transaction started via Pay at Counter, then cancelled, could not then be paid via Pay at Table
Improvements to Pay Now Cancellation

  • Log when polled transactions state changes

  • Cancel if a transaction remains in state of "Pin Pad Is Not Connected" for 3 minutes or more

  • Cancel if the transaction takes 20 minutes overall

  • Cancel when POS cancellation is requested

These cancel requests will not be processed if the transaction has already advanced to a "non cancellable" state
Diagnostics on Pay Now state changes

Additional diagnostics added to this area to allow for increased visibility to investigate issues at this stage of payment processing
