When order demand is high and capacity is reached, the Mobile Ordering Manager lets you control ordering by turning it on or off for selected sites and sales areas.

Wait Times

Wait times are a manually entered value (configured in iOrder Platform) that provide an indicative wait time to guests. MOM displays the standard Wait Times configured in the platform for each site / sales area the user has access to. These can be over-written and saved via the dialogue. Note: The Wait Time over-ride can’t be ‘snoozed’ like ordering availability, and will be reset according to the Reset Ordering Options setting (see below).

Turn Ordering On / Off

Every site / sales area a user has access to* has a ‘red button’ that allows the user to turn off / turn on the entire site / sales area. This is the most comprehensive of over-rides and disables all order modes / menu categories.

*as stated above, only users with ‘Snooze until the end of the day’ permissions will be able to use these buttons

Snoozing

Both Order Modes and Menu Categories can be ‘snoozed’ for 30mins, 1hr, 2hr or Today (if the user has the snooze until the end of the day permission). The snooze will be in effect until the time has expired or is manually reset. As stated above, if the Turn off / Turn on button is used, any Snooze over-rides in effect will not be reset by this button.

Reset Ordering Options

This controls when and how the Wait times and Turn on / Turn off buttons are reset. The default setting for this is ‘Every day’ meaning that over-rides will be reset as part of the overnight sync at approximately 3am. If the option is set to ‘manually’ then the over-rides will remain in place until manually update by a user. It is not recommended to set to ‘manually’ for a site unless for very exceptional circumstances (e.g. Airport/24 hour venue). As stated above, this will not impact any ‘snooze’ over rides.
