Categories

Categories can be assigned when creating menus to help define the type of menu displayed during maintenance and when creating restrictions. Additionally, categories are used in the Mobile Ordering Manager by onsite users to temporarily restrict the sale of certain menus. For example, users can disable all menus within a specific category, such as food menus.

Navigate to Menu Manager

Adding Categories

Follow these steps to add a new category:

  1. Click Configure | select Categories

  2. Click New Category

  3. Enter the following details, Name | Display Name

  4. Click Save Changes

Editing Categories

Follow these steps to add edit a category:

  1. Click Configure | select Categories

  2. Update a category Name or Display name as required

  3. Click Save Changes

Deleting Categories

Follow these steps to delete a category:

  1. Click Configure | select Categories

  2. Click Delete against the category

  3. Click OK to confirm the deletion
