Overriding Product Names

Zonal Delivery provides the ability to override a product name to add Emoji or diacritic characters.

How to override a product name

Follow these steps to override a product name that persists menu syncs:

1. Click on All Items from the Library OR Click on a menu item from a Menu

2. Click on the relevant product that needs to be overridden

3. Add the relevant characters to the Name field

4. Click Save and choose the Apply to all locations using overridesoption and click Save

   Apply to all locations using overrides must be selected to ensure the change is persisted after a menu re-sync.

5. Re-publish the menu to one or more Delivery Service Providers (DSPs)

 

How to override a modifier name

Follow these steps to override a product name that persists menu syncs:

1. Click on All Modifiers from the Library

2. Click on the relevant modifier that needs to be overridden

3. Add the relevant characters to the Name field

4. Click Save and choose the Save for all locationsoption and click Save

   Save for all locations must be selected to ensure the change is persisted after a menu re-sync.

5. Re-publishthe menu to one or more Delivery Service Providers (DSPs)

 

How to revert an overridden product name

Follow these steps to revert an overridden product name back to its iOrder Display Record name:

1. Click on All Items from the Library OR Click on a menu item from a Menu

2. Click on the relevant product that needs to be overridden

3. Click on the button attached to the Name field

4. A prompt will appear asking to confirm the revert. Click Revert

5. Click Save and choose the Apply to all locationsoption and click Save

   Apply to all locations must be selected to ensure the name can be changed by iOrder Platform after a menu re-sync.

6. Re-publish the menu to one or more Delivery Service Providers (DSPs)
