3.21.0 - Setup & Operations

The following information describes the setup and use of features within this release of Aztec.

Serve All Delayed Orders

This feature can only be used if the site is already configured for delayed orders - Base Data | Estate Structure | Site Settings | Delayed Ordering | Use delayed order

Setup

Navigate to Theme Modelling → Themes / Shared Panels
  1. From the button picker Other Lists | Delayed Orders | add the Serve All Delayed Orders button

Navigate to Communications
  1. Perform a Comms Job & Send to POS to site

POS Operations

  • Press Serve All Delayed Orders

    • The total quantity of orders delayed orders and those ready to be served is displayed

    • Choose Yes or No

    • Press OK to confirm either

      • All Order Served

        or

      • Any Remaining Orders

Additional Prompts on Reverse Payments, if not original Payment Taker

Setup

Navigate to Theme Modelling → Site Setup → Miscellaneous
Repeat this setup on each site requiring the reconfirm tip entry setting
  1. Set the check box for Reverse Payment Dialogue to be checked

  2. Click Close

Navigate to Communications
  1. Perform a Comms Job & Send to POS to site

POS Operations

  • From the corrections screen tap a payment to reverse (remove)

  • If the POS operator performing this function is different to the original payment taker the additional prompt will be displayed

  • Press Yes or No

If there is already front of house role security permission for 'Reverse Payments' configured and the operator performing the function does not have the permission to reverse the payment without authorisation the prompt will not be displayed

Internal Stock Transfers using ZCF

Setup

Navigate to Base Data → Estate Structure → Estate Settings
  1. Enter the Username for ZCF Internal Transfer Credentials

  2. Click Change | enter the New Password and Repeat | click Save

    Contact your Zonal Account Representative to request ZCF credentials
  3. Click Save

Navigate to Base Data → Site Settings → Purchasing
Once a site has been upgraded to 3.21.0 and higher, the Aztec 3.17 functionality 'Use ZCF for Internal Transfers" checkbox will no longer be visible at Head Office in Aztec → Base Data → Site Settings → Purchasing
  1. Check Purchasing is set to Enabled

Navigate to Communications
  1. Perform a Comms Job & Send to POS to site

Additional Information

  • For sites previously using 3.17+ "Use ZCF for internal transfers" checkbox, when upgrading to Aztec 3.21.0, Head Office will need the new ZCF user name and password credentials populated in order to continue performing internal transfers via ZCF

  • Mixed estates - during the upgrade rollout of an estate when some sites are on pre-Aztec 3.21.0 versions, these sites will still be able to perform internal transfers with upgraded sites. If the sending or receiving site is on a lower version than Aztec 3.21.0 or not configured to use ZCF credentials, comms mechanism will revert to pre-Aztec 3.21.0 comms mechanisms already enabled
