PMS Changes when using Judo Pay
On 16 March 2026, if you use Judo Pay as your payment gateway, the following areas where credit card details are entered will change:
- Booking engine
- Express checkout
- Pay by Link & Card by Link
- Adding a card via Booking Hub, Guest accounts, and Corporate accounts
These updates are being introduced for security reasons. We will now display the Judo Pay iframe whenever card details are required. This means that when you or your customers access these pages, the card entry section will have a new user interface. The input fields will be provided directly by Judo Pay.
There is no change to the payment process itself. Deposits, payments, and card tokenisation will continue to work exactly as they do today. The only difference is that the card entry form will now come directly from the gateway, providing a more secure method of handling credit card information.

What is changing with the £0.01 authorisation?
We will be updating the card verification process from a £0.01 authorisation to a £0 authorisation. This means:
- Cards will still be validated, but no temporary £0.01 hold will appear on the customer’s bank statement
- There is no impact on how payments, deposits, or tokenisation work
This change provides a smoother experience for customers by removing small, temporary pending transactions.
