Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you making this change?

After consulting with a number of customers, it was felt that removing these messages from the order would provide more operational clarity, especially those customers who operate with kitchen dispense tickets, where these message lines will be printed alongside associated choice items.

The aim of this change is to help reduce the cognitive load needed by members of the kitchen to prepare dishes and reduce the number of missing items in an order.

Where will I find if the guest has requested utensils?

This will still be included on the Delivery Service Provider's (DSP) ticket, which is printed from the DSP's tablet or device.

Will this change be configurable?

This change will not be configurable and will be applied globally. In the future, we may consider adding configuration to allow this functionality to be re-enabled.

When are you making this change?

This change is scheduled to be released to production W/C 27th October.
